Ed is the narrator of VH1’s Behind the Music having most recently recorded narration for New Kids on the Block. You can also hear Ed narrate for Discovery Channel’s Surgery Saved My Life, and TruTV’s Bait Car. Several Fox and NBC affiliates use Ed as their station voice, and he records everything out of his state of the art home studio. He has also voiced lead characters for dozens of top-selling video games (Tony Hawk, Call of Duty II, Star Wars Attack of the Clones, Everquest II, Soul Caliber I-IV, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon III, Dungeons and Dragons, etc.).
An accomplished stage and film actor, Ed won Chicago’s Joseph Jefferson Citation for his portrayal of Marco in A View from the Bridge, and performed in the Tony Award winning play Metamorphoses with Chicago's Lookingglass Theatre Company. A few years back, Ed starred in the feature film Design now running on the Sundance Channel (selected for Sundance Film Festival 2002). Also of note, Ed's play joe recently won the 1st runner-up prize in The Pen is a Mighty Sword International Playwriting Competition.
Throughout his career, Ed has taught acting and voiceover at every level. He holds a BA in English Literature from Davidson College and an MFA in Acting from Northern Illinois University.
